Barbara Evoe, the Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction for the Ferndale Schools, joined the Ferndale Schools in July 2007.

Mrs. Evoe oversees Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment for the district. Among her areas of responsibilities are instructional budgeting and staffing; overseeing federal/state grants; pre-kindergarten through grade 12 curriculum and assessment development; professional development; development of annual reports; analysis of data as it relates to student achievement and Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP); Section 504 compliance; textbook adoptions; childcare services; school improvement, and bilingual services. In her role, she is an instrumental member of the Board Program Committee as well.
