Darcey McLaughlin was elected to a four year term in 2007. She has two sons attending Ferndale High School, and both she and her husband are graduates of Ferndale High. Darcey is a former President of the following PTA units: Roosevelt, FE-PTA, Ferndale Middle School, Ferndale High School and also Ferndale PTA Council. She is also a former President for Ferndale Citizens for Better Education, and worked diligently on the most recent bond issue for Ferndale Schools. She will be participating on the following Board committees: Program/Technology, Head Start, Community Relations and Technology Advisory Committee.
