Donate to Ferndale Schools
Donating to your local school district is a great way to support the community. Here are some of the programs started by our friends and neighbors that would greatly appreciate your support.
The Ferndale Literacy Project helps fund reading intervention and support for Ferndale Schools students, helping to improve their reading skills, which in turn, will help them with all subjects.
All proceeds go to support the many K-12 programs, performance needs and activities the FAB sponsors. These include classroom enhancement funds, concert dress, uniform and equipment needs and program support for Art, Dance, Orchestra, Choir, Bands, Drumline, and our State Champion Marching Band.
Roger Smith is a Ferndale alumnus and served Ferndale Public Schools for 32 years–as Music Teacher, Assistant Principal, and High School Principal–before retiring in 2017. This annual scholarship will be available to 9th-11th grade students–currently enrolled in band, choir, or orchestra–to pursue advancement in the musical arts.
