These classes focus on all areas of language development: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Particular emphasis is placed on survival skills to encourage independence and adjustment to life in the United States.

Classes are held Monday - Thursday mornings at:
The Jewish Community Center in Oak Park.

Classes are held Monday - Thursday evenings at:
The JVS in Southfield.

All classes are taught by experienced Adult Education ESL staff who are certified State of Michigan teachers. Classes are free for those who qualify.
