June 4 | Roosevelt Primary School received a 2007 National Schools of Character Promising Practices Award! The Character Education Partnership selected Roosevelt's practice, "Brain Smart Start" to serve as a model for others to replicate and integrate into their character education initiatives. Roosevelt Principal Dina Krause developed and guided the implementation of the Brain Smart Start which also received a 2007 Education Excellence Award from the Michigan Association of School Boards (MASB). Click here for a link to a newspaper article published June 7, 2007 about Roosevelt's award!
