In the open classroom program, students are taught individual student responsibility and instruction revolves around project-based learning and parent involvement is a requirement. Have any questions about the Roosevelt Open Classroom program? Call Principal Dina Krause, 248/586-8800, and don't forget to schedule a tour.
Enrollment in Open Classroom programs at both Roosevelt and John F. Kennedy School is by lottery only. To participate in the magnet program lottery, student's families must be district residents or be enrolled in Kindergarten for one year through the Schools of Choice program, have attended building tours of both Roosevelt and Kennedy, and completed enrollment forms in the Enrollment Office.
