A Council of Industry Partners, including leaders in all aspects of the the automotive industry, advises and guides UHS to keep coursework relevant, innovative and cutting edge.

UHS operates as a unique partnership between the Ferndale Public Schools and Lawrence Technological University. The program is funded, in part, by a generous grant from Michigan Future, Inc., a non-partisan, non-profit organization whose mission is to be a source of new ideas on how Michigan can succeed as a world-class community in the Information Age.
