IVD Team wins 4 awards at 2008 Convergence Conference
A team of UHS students built an electric car and won four out of seven trophies in the vetran team category at the global Convergence Conference at Cobo Hall.
The first-place awards were for Ambassadorship Program, Performance, Presentation and the Founders Award for best representing the spirit of Convergence. See Photo Galleries for many pictues of the IVD car & trophies!

UHS student Kalena Porter and teacher Julie Patterson are being interviewed with a representative of the Michigan Council of Women in Technology Foundation (MCWTF).
