Ferndale African American Parent Network (AAPN)
Our Mission: The Ferndale African American Parent Network is dedicated to helping African American parents by bridging the gap between staff, administration, and teachers. By providing resources, programs, and training relevant to the African American community. The FAAPN will provide a safe space for African American parents to voice their concerns regarding community and school issues. The group is centered around listening, providing information, and taking action on concerns voiced by parents, community members, and other stakeholders.
The FAAPN is a parent based community group looking to connect with the ever growing diverse local communities surrounding Ferndale Public Schools. If you are interested in getting involved with meetings or the leadership team please email fpsaapn@gmail.com.
Join us at our monthly meetings.
We meet the third Friday of every month in the Main Conference Room at Ferndale High School at 7:00 pm — 8:30 pm.
