When will my child learn who their teacher is?

 

Lower Elementary at Roosevelt

Wednesday, August 29th from 4:30 p.m. -­ 6:30 p.m. on the Lower Elementary Playground, during the Popsicles with Principals event.

Upper Elementary at JFK

Wednesday, August 29h from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Ferndale Upper Elementary (FUEL), during the Popsicles with Principals event.

Ferndale Middle School

(Last names A-M) Wednesday, August 29th from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

(Last names N-Z) Thursday, August 30th from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. 

During registration, students will be able to pick up their schedule, get their lockers/practice the combination and walk their schedule in the building.

Ferndale High School

Students will receive teacher assignments and schedules at their orientation and registration. 

  • Freshmen and New Student Orientation | Tuesday, August 21 | 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
  • Returning 10th Graders | Wednesday, August 29th | 8 a.m. - 11 a.m.
  • Returning 11th & 12th Graders | Tuesday | August 28th

  • Additional classroom specific supply lists will be sent home early in the school year including Resource Room and ASD classroom.
  • Please do not put your child’s name on any of the above supplies.  They are community property and will be shared with the class family.
  • Parents are also asked to donate any amount towards the purchase of “Scholastic News” which will be used in class and sent home.  Actual cost per student is $4.50  (Grades 1st/2nd only)

When will my child learn their bus assignment?

You will receive a letter in the mail with your child's bus assignment. If you have not received a letter in the mail by Wednesday, August 31st, contact our transportation department: 248-586-8890.
