Student's in Mr. Davis's 5th grade classroom learned their way around the classroom this week: where to find things and how to put them back. They were allowed to explore the game collection, which is available during recess, as a special reward, or during planned Game Day.

Tasks like cleaning up helps kids develop executive functions to manage time, attention, and emotions. Age appropriate chores at home also build these skills.
