In December, our TCEC students engaged in a thought-provoking assembly facilitated by our community partner, HAVEN. They learned about healthy relationships and discussed (and at times, debated!) scenarios through a green flag/red flag activity. They learned of the laws that protect and support them in their future relationships, as well as the notion of consent and how it applies to their everyday life, be it in or outside of school.
We are also extremely proud of our Student Council members who participated in tailoring this program. They met with Olivia and Kat a few weeks before the school-wide assembly to share their perspectives on making the content more relatable to their peers at school.
