Michigan Secretary of State (SOS) Pop-Ups will be at TCEC, University High School, Ferndale High School, Ferndale Middle School, and Ferndale Upper Elementary Schools for a limited time, offering students FREE state of Michigan ID Cards, thanks to a secured community partnership with The Detroit Change Initiative. Other SOS services at Pop-Ups include: Driver’s License/ID, transfer title, disability placard application and renewal. Parents/Guardians do not have to be present for students to receive their ID cards. Students are asked to please bring original birth certificate with raised seal and social security cards for the ID cards, as xerox copies of birth certificate are not accepted by SOS.  If FPS families need assistance procuring a birth certificate, SS card, or have additional questions, please reach out to Lacetia.Walker@ferndaleschools.org.
