Students in Ms. Shelby and Ms. Ana's preschool class read the book "Not a Box" and talked about all the different things a box could be: a car, a robot, a fort, and more. While learning about 'Reduce, Reuse, then Recycle' waste management, we put away some of our traditional toys and filled the classroom with boxes to reuse and give new life. Using their imagination, scissors, paint and glue, students spent the week creating. At the end of the week, students helped break down the boxes and send them to be recycled into new materials.
