swimmers circle up

The Ferndale High School Girls’ Swim Team capped an extraordinary season this year, highlighted by four standout athletes who earned their place at the state finals. Junior Chantal Foreman, and Sophomores Josie Krupa Grob, Alexis Mroczek and Amelia Pawluk delivered remarkable performances all season long. Their qualification alone reflects a level of work, talent and resilience that deserves the highest recognition.

Due to an administrative mix-up, ultimately, the student-athletes were prevented from competing at the state meet, but that moment does not define their year—or their legacy. What they achieved in the pool, how they carried themselves as teammates and the pride they brought to our school community from the very first lap of the season to the last.

We celebrate these athletes not for one meet, but for an entire body of excellence. Their dedication has elevated our program, inspired younger swimmers, and reminded us all what commitment looks like. We are proud of them and we know this is only the beginning of what they will accomplish.
