Ferndale Middle School has some future authors in the house! Mrs. Jamia Baldwin, SPED Resource Room Educator, launched a special publishing project where each of her 16 students will become a published author. This experience allows the students to go through the full writing process, brainstorming, drafting, editing, illustrating, and ultimately seeing their work in a professionally bound book. The opportunity builds confidence, creativity and above all, Eagle pride! All of the students’ written pages will be included in one 32-page book entitled: “Middle School Mosaic: Tales Together”. The publishing party celebration will take place before March, 2026! Stay tuned, as we plan to share the fun photos from the publishing party once the books arrive!
