What time did you wake up today? 6-7?! HaHa! Today is also the 67th day of school. You heard that right. Students are Six Seeeeeeeeeeeven days smarter! We visited various Ferndale Schools to learn how they were celebrating and embracing the day - or not - in different ways. Some of the staff had a unique approach to this milestone. At Ferndale Lower Elementary School, some teachers wore pajamas and comfy clothes to show they were maybe a bit tired of the 6-7 fuss!! While in some classrooms, the students joined in on the fun with a PJ day!!! And, of course students shared jokes: "Why was 6 afraid of 7? Because it 8 9!" Meanwhile, over at Ferndale High School, we saw a variety of outfits reflecting the 6-7 numbers showcased by staff and students alike. And, at Ferndale Middle School, many staff members wore matching 6-7 t-shirts, marking the day in different colors, for some extra added fun!
