Black History Month came alive for students at FUEL this week. The African American Living Museum included presentations from students profiling individuals in the fields of arts, athletics, politics, medicine, education, aerospace, music and much more! Third grade students recited interesting facts about the individuals they researched and profiled. The presentations included everyone from George Washington Carver to Kobe Bryant to Dr. Charles Drew, an African American surgeon and researcher who pioneered the field of blood transfusions and blood storage. Thank you to the teachers, school leadership, support staff and families who participated and helped organize this successful event!
