The Black History Month Committee and the FUEL Student Council sponsored a Door Decorating Contest. This contest offers a unique opportunity for students to engage creatively with Black history while fostering respect and appreciation for diversity. By focusing on Black History: Voices Who Changed The World, students will gain a deeper understanding and a lasting impact African Americans have had on American culture. The winners were:
1st Place - Mrs. Harris's 5th grade class
2nd Place - Mrs. Hoemke's 4th grade class
3rd Place - a tie between Mrs. Prince's 3rd grade class and Mrs. Van Slyke's 3rd grade class
