On March 2, Ferndale Lower Elementary kicked off March is Reading Month with a “Go for the Gold” themed opening ceremony! Students lined the hallways waving flags from around the world and cheered as staff members passed the ceremonial torch from one to another.
The torch will remain lit in the media center throughout the month of March, serving as a symbol of our commitment to reading excellence and our goal of going for the gold in literacy.
