The Percussion Ensembles from the FHS Wind Ensemble and FHS Symphony Band performed as part of the Oakland University Day of Percussion on Saturday at OU's Varner Hall. They were the only high school ensembles invited to perform; all other performers were undergrads, grad students, professors, or professional guests. They performed difficult music very well, and wowed the audience. In addition, junior Mary Kacir performed as part of the OU Youth Percussion Ensemble.
